45 Animal Welfare Organizations, including the Portage Animal Welfare Society(PAWS), have declared an Animal Overpopulation Crisis.
In a release shared on the PAWS Facebook page Monday, animal shelters are urging citizens to use their voices to forward their concerns regarding the crisis to elected officials.
